Questions avant votre départ

Des réponses claires pour préparer ce voyage.

What makes the TrueAndes Luxury Inca Trail different from a standard Inca Trail trek?

This is a private, fully supported trekking experience designed around comfort, privacy and personalized service. Guests enjoy a private expert guide, spacious walk-in glamping tents with real beds and premium bedding, hot showers, gourmet dining, restorative massage service and a dedicated trekking team while following the authentic Classic Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.

Is this a private Luxury Inca Trail or will we join another group?

The experience is designed as a private journey for your party. Your guide and support arrangements are organized around your group, allowing for a more personal pace and a higher level of attention throughout the trek

What type of accommodation is provided on the Inca Trail?

Guests stay in spacious walk-in glamping tents equipped with real beds, premium mattresses and quality bedding. The camp is prepared by the support team before your arrival each day, creating a significantly more comfortable experience than conventional trekking camps.

Are hot showers and massage services really available during the trek?

Yes. Hot shower facilities and restorative massage service are part of the luxury camp experience, subject to the services specified in your confirmed itinerary.

What kind of meals are served during the Luxury Inca Trail?

Meals are freshly prepared by the trekking chef and presented as an elevated dining experience rather than standard camping food. Dietary requirements should be communicated in advance so the team can prepare accordingly.

How difficult is the Luxury Inca Trail if the service is high-end?

The route remains the authentic Classic Inca Trail of approximately 43 km (27 miles), reaching about 4,215 m (13,829 ft) at Dead Woman’s Pass. Luxury services improve comfort and recovery, but they do not remove the physical demands, altitude or mountain conditions of the trek

Are Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu entrance included?

The permits and entrance arrangements specified in your confirmed itinerary are coordinated as part of the journey. Inca Trail permits are limited and tied to passport information, so early booking is strongly recommended. Optional entrances such as Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain must be specifically confirmed.

How much luggage can I take on the trek?

The luxury service includes porter assistance with the personal weight allowance specified in your booking. Guests should carry only a small daypack with personal essentials while the support team transports the permitted trekking luggage.

What happens if I have dietary requirements or special requests?

TrueAndes can accommodate many dietary requirements and personalize certain aspects of the journey when arranged in advance. Guests should provide dietary restrictions, allergies and special requests before the trek so they can be reviewed and confirmed.

Why does a Luxury Inca Trail cost more than a regular Inca Trail tour?

The price reflects a different level of operation: private guiding, enhanced camp infrastructure, premium sleeping arrangements, additional support personnel, gourmet meal preparation, wellness services, private transportation and a more personalized experience. The objective is not to change the historic trail, but to experience it with considerably greater privacy, comfort and service.
