Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Lima
Welcome and transfer to your hotel. Rest.
Day 2: Lima City Tour
Morning private tour of the historic center and museums.
Day 3: Fly to Cusco
Flight to the Andes. Acclimatization and afternoon city tour of Sacsayhuamán.
Day 4: Sacred Valley
Visit Pisac market and Ollantaytambo. Overnight in the valley.
Day 5: Machu Picchu
Scenic train to the citadel. Guided tour of the ruins. Return to Cusco.
Day 6: Free Day in Cusco
Relax or explore local markets.
Day 7: Cusco to Puno
Travel along the “Route of the Sun” by touristic bus. Visit Andahuaylillas and Raqchi.
Day 8: Lake Titicaca
Boat tour to the Uros floating islands and Taquile Island. Cultural lunch included.
Day 9: Departure
Transfer to Juliaca airport for your flight back to Lima.

Route of the Sun: The bus journey from Cusco to Puno takes about 10 hours but includes 4 stops at archaeological sites and a buffet lunch, making it a full day of touring.
Altitude Health
Puno (3,800m): Lake Titicaca is higher than Cusco. We recommend hydrating well and moving slowly. The hotel in Puno is equipped with oxygen if needed.
Departures
Juliaca Airport: The airport for Puno is located in Juliaca, about an hour’s drive from Puno city. We arrange your private transfer accordingly.
