Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Flight New York to Lima
Depart JFK on a direct flight to Lima. Our team welcomes you at the airport for a private transfer to your hotel in Miraflores.
Day 2: Lima City Tour
Discover the “City of Kings.” We explore the historic center, the Cathedral, and the San Francisco Catacombs. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3: Fly to Cusco
Morning flight to the Imperial City. Acclimatize in comfort. In the afternoon, we visit Qorikancha and the fortress of Sacsayhuamán.
Day 4: Sacred Valley
A full day in the Sacred Valley. Visit the Pisac market and the impressive Ollantaytambo ruins before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes.
Day 5: Machu Picchu Tour
Early morning guided tour of the Inca citadel. Explore the temples and terraces with fewer crowds. Return train to Cusco in the evening.
Day 6: Leisure in Cusco
A free day to shop for alpaca textiles, visit local museums, or enjoy Cusco’s vibrant culinary scene.
Day 7: Return to New York
Private transfer to Cusco airport for your flight to Lima and connecting flight back to NYC.

This package includes flights from JFK. Flight times are subject to airline schedules. Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates.
Health & Altitude
Acclimatization: We recommend drinking plenty of water and eating light meals on your first day in Cusco (3,400m). Coca tea is provided in most hotels.
Luggage
Train Restrictions: The train to Machu Picchu has a luggage limit of 5kg (11 lbs) per person for carry-on. Large suitcases will be stored safely at your Cusco hotel.

Advance Notice: We recommend booking at least 3 months in advance to secure optimal flight prices and train schedules.
