What travellers say
Questions before you go
Clear answers for planning this tour.
Do I need to be an expert biker?
No. The biking section is all downhill on a paved road. It is scenic and fun, not technical single-track. Support vehicle follows.
Is the rafting dangerous?
We raft on Class II and III rapids, which are exciting but safe for beginners. We provide helmets, life jackets, and a safety kayak.
Where do we sleep in the jungle?
We use "Eco Terra" or similar lodges that offer private rooms with bathrooms, far superior to the basic hostels used by budget operators.
What if I don't want to do an activity?
You can skip the biking or rafting and ride in our private support vehicle to the next meeting point.
Is Rainbow Mountain included?
Yes! We include a hike to Rainbow Mountain on Day 3 to help with acclimatization and check off another bucket list item.
What shoes should I wear?
Bring hiking boots for the trekking days and water shoes or old sneakers for the rafting activity.
