Day 1 – FLIGHT FROM LIMA TO CUSCO & PRIVATE CITY TOUR

Upon arrival at Cusco International Airport, our TrueAndes representative will welcome you and provide your scheduled private transportation.
After some time to adjust to the altitude, enjoy a guided exploration of Cusco’s most important historical and archaeological attractions.

Day 2 – SACRED VALLEY PRIVATE TOUR & VISTADOME TRAIN TO AGUAS CALIENTES

After breakfast at your independently arranged hotel, take the shuttle bus from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of Machu Picchu.

Your adventure begins early in the morning with transportation from Cusco toward the starting point of the hike.

The hiking route leads toward the famous Rainbow Mountain viewpoint, located at approximately 5,036 meters (16,522 feet) above sea level.

Upon reaching the viewpoint, enjoy panoramic views of the colorful mountain formations and take memorable photographs.

Are hotels included in the tour price?
No. Hotel accommodation is not included in the US$1,650 per person tour price. Travelers are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation during the four nights. TrueAndes can provide hotel recommendations or assist with reservations upon request at an additional cost.
What should I know about altitude sickness?
Cusco is located approximately 3,400 meters (11,155 feet) above sea level. Upon arrival from Lima, we recommend resting, staying hydrated, avoiding strenuous activities initially, and allowing your body time to adjust to the altitude. Rainbow Mountain reaches approximately 5,036 meters (16,522 feet). Travelers with medical concerns should consult their healthcare provider before participating in high-altitude activities.
Is the Rainbow Mountain hike difficult?
The Rainbow Mountain hike is considered moderate to challenging, primarily because of the high altitude. The excursion involves walking through beautiful Andean landscapes toward the Rainbow Mountain viewpoint. This tour includes traditional hiking only. ATVs and quad bikes are not part of the itinerary. Transportation from Cusco and a professional local guide are included.
Are domestic flights included in the tour price?
Yes. Round-trip domestic flights between Lima and Cusco are included in the US$1,650 per person tour price. The package includes the flight from Lima to Cusco on Day 1 and the return flight from Cusco to Lima on Day 5. Private airport transfers in Cusco are also included. International flights to and from Peru are not included.
Are meals included during the tour?
Yes. The following meals are included:
Day 2: Lunch during the Sacred Valley tour.
Day 3: Lunch during the Machu Picchu excursion.
Day 4: Breakfast and lunch during the Rainbow Mountain excursion.
A total of one breakfast and three lunches are included. All other meals and beverages are not included unless specifically mentioned in the itinerary.
Is the Machu Picchu entrance ticket included?
Yes. The official Machu Picchu entrance ticket is included in the tour price. The guided visit follows the official entrance circuit assigned to your ticket. Entrance tickets are subject to availability and must be confirmed through the official reservation process. We recommend booking in advance, especially during the high season.
Is the Vistadome train included?
Yes. The Vistadome tourist train from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes is included in the itinerary. The package also includes the scheduled return tourist train and ground transportation back to Cusco. Train schedules and services are subject to availability.

A reservation is confirmed once the required services have been secured and confirmation has been issued by TrueAndes.
