Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Classic Inca Trail mandatory?

No. If you prefer not to camp/hike for 4 days, we can replace this with a train option and extra nights in Cusco/Sacred Valley.

How do we travel between cities?

We use a mix of flights (Cusco-Amazon) and premium tourist buses (Nazca-Arequipa-Puno-Cusco) to enjoy the changing landscapes.

Is the Amantani homestay comfortable?

It is a rustic, authentic experience. Facilities are basic (no hot water/electricity in rooms), but the cultural exchange with the family is priceless.

Can I bring a suitcase?

Yes. You can travel with a main suitcase. For the Trek and Jungle, you will leave the big bag in storage and take a provided duffel bag.

What happens if I get sick mid-trip?

Our guides and operations team are available 24/7. We can assist with doctors or itinerary changes if you need rest.

Is this tour suitable for solo travelers?

Yes, but single supplements apply for hotels. On the trek and homestay, you may share a tent/room with another traveler of the same gender.
