You will hike the scenic last 12km of the Inca Trail, passing the stunning ruins of Wiñay Wayna and entering Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate in the afternoon. Afterward, retire to a luxury hotel for a gourmet dinner and a restful night, before returning to the citadel the next morning for a comprehensive private tour.

Day 1: The Royal Path Private transfer to the train station. Vistadome train to Km 104. Hike past Chachabamba and Wiñay Wayna. Arrive at the Sun Gate for sunset views. Bus to Aguas Calientes. Dinner and overnight in a 4-5 star hotel. Day 2: Machu Picchu Private Tour Morning bus to Machu Picchu. Private guided tour of the citadel. Lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge (optional/included depending on package tier). Return to Cusco via Vistadome/Hiram Bingham train.
