How far in advance do I need to book?

As early as possible. Inca Trail permits are limited, issued for specific travelers and dates, and not guaranteed until confirmed.

What if permits are sold out?

Our specialists will suggest alternative dates or luxury routes such as the Salkantay or Lares Trek. We never change your trek without discussing it with you first.

Do I carry my own gear?

You carry only a small daypack. Your personal porter carries up to 7 kg / 15 lb, and our team transports the camp and kitchen equipment.

Is the Inca Trail open all year?

It is open from March to January and closes in February for maintenance.

What are the toilets like on the trail?

Our luxury camp includes a private bathroom tent for your group, installed and cleaned by our team, following Inca Trail regulations.

Can I shower during the trek?

Yes. Our camp includes a hot shower tent, prepared for you each afternoon.

How do you handle the altitude?

You spend a night in the Sacred Valley, lower than Cusco, before the trek. Our team carries emergency oxygen and a first aid kit.
